We have a number of different solutions for smaller moves:
We can organise the shipment of smaller volumes worldwide, with options that are flexible enough to suit your budget and shipment size. These solutions are just as easy for you as a larger move.

One solution is an LCL shipment - an abbreviation for Less (than) Container Load.

We pack and collect your things and load them into a specially designed large wooden crate at our warehouse. Then we organise the shipment by sea freight, handle the customs clearance and arrange delivery to your new home, including the removal of all used packing material. This process is simple, flexible, affordable and from a single source. We know all about the customs clearance, which stays the same no matter what the size of the shipment. We just need the right documents from you, and then your adventure "new job abroad" can begin.

It's bound to be the same for you as with many people: we all have things that mean a lot to us, things that make our lives a little easier, and things we would like to have with us during our stay abroad. For example, your bicycle, a child's cot, your own bed linen and pillow, ski equipment, a favourite armchair, the Thermomix or grandma's chest. And then we find out that the possibilities to take these things are very limited:

With this in mind, the large wooden crate for smaller shipments is exactly the right solution for you.

So, no one need do without those favourite things. But you do need to be careful - there are some things that cannot be shipped for safety reasons.

Here is a summary of the container sizes that can be used for household goods shipments:

40 foot container: has a capacity of 65 to 68 cbm. The exact dimensions can vary slightly, but the internal dimensions are usually: length 12.00 metres, width 2.35 metres, height 2.40 metres.

40 foot high cube container: has a capacity of 74 to 77 cbm. The exact dimensions can vary slightly, but the internal dimensions are usually: length 12.00 metres, width 2.35 metres, height 2.70 metres.

In addition, there is a special size that can only be used for selected destinations:
45 foot high cube container: has a capacity of 82 to 86 cbm. The exact dimensions can vary slightly, but the internal dimensions are usually: length 13.50 metres, width 2.35 metres, height 2.70 metres.

The standard container, the one that is used most often, is the 20 foot container.
20 foot container: has a capacity of 30 to 32 cbm. The exact dimensions can vary slightly, but the internal dimensions are usually: length 5.90 metres, width 2.35 metres, height 2.40 metres.
The capacity is normally suitable for a two-person move.

All other container sizes are normally not used for household goods.
