At Henk International many of our staff have physical jobs. For this reason, health and safety is especially important for us.
We try to avoid both accidents at work and work-related illnesses by using a comprehensive risk management and by continuously instructing our staff. These measures have resulted in Henk International being the first and only moving company in Germany to be OHSAS 18001 certified. With this certification we fulfil all international standards for workplace safety. And this can save lives! Like in the case of one staff member who was reanimated by his colleague after suffering a heart attack at work. Fortunately, his colleague had done a first-aid course as part of our health and safety programme.
When carrying out moves we not only look after the safety of our staff, but also the condition of the items entrusted to our care. Whether packing standards, vehicles or warehouses - everything is in accordance with the highest safety and quality standards (ISO 9001, FAIM).
