Vocational training

Life is learning – supported by Henk International

Just as a bicycle is of little use without someone to tread the pedals and steer it, our company needs the knowledge of our employees. They form the assets of the company and are the basis of our success.

We are not only proud of our low fluctuation rates but also support and encourage our employees through specific development programmes in all specialist areas. No matter if we use external training providers or utilise our internal training capacities â€“ our aim is to enable our staff to work independently and responsibly. We also want to show them new prespectives and strengthen their sense of self-responsibility.

For us, vocational training means: learn to be responsible for yourself and notice how you are supported.

A long time ago Confucius recognised one of the best teaching methods:

“Tell me and I will forget. Show me and I may remember. Involve me and I will understand.“

And this way of learning ideally starts on the first day of vocational training. Every year we aim to ensure that at least 5% of our staff are apprentices or trainees.

Degree courses, apprenticeships and work experience at Henk International - we turn education into the future

For many years Henk International has offered vocational training in both office and manual professions. We're proud that we continue to do this, because a solid learning experience creates employees who are qualified, motivated and able to make decisions on their own.

Dual degree programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management – know-how concentrated in 7 semesters

Logistics offers an exciting career perspective with an incredibly broad area of application. More and more specialists with academic qualifications are needed in different sectors. For this reason we decided in 2016 to offer a dual degree programme â€žLogistics and Supply Chain Management“ together with the Rheinischen Fachhochschule in Neuss. One part of the programme is a semster abroad. In total the course lasts 7 semesters and results in a BA qualification, together with a completed traineeship.

If you are interested in a dual degree programme, please contact us. Your contact person is Ilona Schultz: ilona.schultz@henk-international.de.

Work experience â€“ nothing beats seeing for yourself

Would you like to see what vocational training looks like? How about joining Mum or Dad at work for a day to see what they do at work? Or take part on Girl‘s Day or Boy’s Day and get a real idea of what work is like?  Or maybe an internship to see what goes on in Move Management? All that is possible with Henk international.
We are happy to offer internships and work experience to school children who want to experience at first hand what goes on in a moving company.
If you are interested, please contact Ilona Schultz: ilona.schultz@henk-international.de.

If you decide on Henk International, you can look forward to a working atmosphere based on respect and appreciation of performance. We value the opinions of our staff and encourage feedback, even if it is critical.
